For those who want only natural beef, Tye River Longhorns will custom raise your market steer! You pay a deposit for the next available steer. When that calf is born, you choose whether you want the calf vaccinated, treated with certain antibiotics, etc. Your calf will not be given any artificial medications or supplements without checking with you first! The calf will stay with its mother until 12 months of age. When your final payment is received, your calf will be delivered to the local processor and processed for you to pick up. You can rest easy knowing your family is eating only naturally raised beef!

Our cows are raised without steroids or growth hormones. They are fed only fertilized pasture grass and occasionally livestock sweet feed. We do believe cows should be treated humanely and therefore we treat them with antibiotics only when they are sick.
Tye River Longhorn market steers can be purchased before weaning, and we can deliver them to the local meat processor for a small fee. You pay for processing and pick up fresh, lean Longhorn meat, cut and packaged however you choose.
We also occasionally have roping steers available for purchase.
