New this year!! For those who want only natural beef, Tye River Longhorns will custom raise your market steer! You pay a deposit for the next available steer. When that calf is born, you choose whether you want the calf vaccinated, treated with certain antibiotics, etc. Your calf will not be given any artificial medications or supplements without checking with you first! The calf will stay with its mother until 6 months of age. When your final payment is received, your calf will be delivered to the local butcher and processed for you to pick up. You can rest easy knowing your family is eating only naturally raised beef!

2007 Go Girl Go bull calf We were blessed with many heifers this year, so this is the only 2007 bull calf available. TRL Sonic Blast was born June 15th, 2007, and is a pretty red lineback color. His dam comes from Tri-W on both sides, and is out of Tri-W Hot V.
On the top side he is out of the great bull Tempter , with a record 71" TTT at 29 months, 11 days.

2007 Barb Wire Belle heifer calf TRL Senator's Legend is a nice red color heifer calf, born April 23rd, 2007. Her dam, Barb Wire Belle, comes from Tri-W lines on both sides, and was sired by Tri-W Barbwire, giving this calf Ranger's Measles and Doherty 698 bloodlines. TRL Senator's Legend is by Mile Stone, a direct son of Mile Marker.

2006 Diego's Zhi Quest heifer calf TRL Ruby's Zhi Boom is a red and white yearling heifer, born November 25th, 2006. She is sired by Mr Boomerific (70" TTT), granddaughter of Boomerang CP. Currently open, will be exposed to Super Sonic soon. $900.

2007 LTL Tiny Dancer heifer calf TRL Butterscotch Diva is a red heifer, born March 20th, 2007. Don't let the plain red wrapper she comes in fool you--she has the bloodlines for great horn growth! At 6 months old she has more horn than any other calf on our farm this year. She is all Butler breeding.
Her dam, LTL Tiny Dancer, is by Barbicon Chex . Diva is sired by the great bull, Luminary.

Our cows are raised without steroids or growth hormones. They are fed only fertilized pasture grass and corn. We do believe cows should be treated humanely and therefore we treat them with antibiotics only when they are sick.
Tye River Longhorn market steers can be purchased before weaning, and we can deliver them to the local butcher for a small fee. You pay for processing and pick up fresh, lean Longhorn meat, cut and packaged however you choose.
We also sell some Angus-Longhorn crosses, which combine the tenderness and taste of Angus cattle with the leanness of Texas Longhorns.
